the sound of waves flooded his ears, every bone and muscle in failed's body ached and his eyes felt heavy.
" stallion?... stallion? " a voice like soft bells rang far off in the distance. laying on the sandy beach failed tried to remember what had happened. his mind struggled to recall yesterday's events but his mind was blank. he tried opening his eyes and saw only a vague, blurred, shape. " hello? " the shape spoke, in the same ringing voice that had been so far off.
when failed's vision cleared he came to realize that the speaking shape was actually a palomino mare. "gnnuuh" were the only words that came out of failed's mouth when he attempted to talk
"no offense, but you dont look so great" the mare spoke. "can you even stand?"
failed shook his head clear and focused on standing up, his legs felt like jello beneath him and wouldnt cooperate, but after much struggle he managed to stand.
"good... come with me" the mare winked "my name is summer by the way". the palomino mare made her way back up the beach, waiting for failed to follow...
